Overview
Helps parents predict and cope with many of the common developmental changes that unfold as children make the transition to adulthood. This period of adolescent growth is broken out into four age groups: early adolescence (ages 9-13), mid-adolescence (ages 13 - 15), late adolescence (ages 15 -18), and trial independence (ages 18-23). The book also differentiates parenting challenges between mothering and fathering adolescent sons and daughters.
