Overview
Kinesiology is the study of movement in the human body. Students tackle topics such as how physical activity can be used to manage chronic illnesses and disabilities, and what factors contribute to musculoskeletal injury and how can they be reversed. Kinesiology is a required course for kinesiology majors, and also a core area of study for students taking occupational therapy, physical therapy, exercise science, nursing, massage therapy, biomechanics, respiration therapy, sports therapy, physical education and many other related degree programs.
