One of America's bleakest times is the dark chapter in history known as slavery. This title explores the hardships slaves had to endure and how brave people fought for their freedom. This title will allow students to analyze the interactions between individuals, events, and ideas in a text and how ideas influence individuals or events, or how individuals influence ideas or events.
