Tianjin Library is the largest public library in Tianjin Municipality. Among its collection are books on the history of pre-modern China, ancient Chinese local chronicles, the history of pre-modern Tianjin, the history of Japan, and Chinese religions. It also collects a large number of thread-bound publications of the Ming and Qing Dynasties including anthologies and fictional works-as well as Chinese and foreign reference books.
