Tang Jun is a researcher at the Graduate School of Sociology under the Chinese\nAcademy of Social Sciences, secretary-general of the Research Center of Social\nPolicies, and a doctoral advisor at the Nankai University. He has published several theses and research reports comprising over five million words and has authored books such as Problems and Obstacles: Reflections on China's Social Policies toward a Well-to-do Society, Poverty and Anti-poverty in Chinese Cities, Social Policies: Overseas Experience and Domestic Practice, The Poverty Line of the City Dwellers in China, and Market Economy and Social Security.
