Overview
The book consists of two speeches by Professor Richard P. Madsen and Professor Yang Huilin from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Renmin University of China, as well as 17 articles written by young scholars. Topics covered include studies on Catholicism, Christian educational, women's and youth ministries, and missionary work in contemporary China. In their articles, Professor Madsen and Professor Yang discuss China's rural religions, literary and cultural studies, as well as the shift in the focus of Christian research in recent years.
