Are you a faculty member, librarian or student who uses digital primary sources?

If so, we would love to hear from you!

In these challenging times, our work as a publisher of digital primary sources doesn't stop. The unprecedented move to virtual teaching has made us more aware than ever that our resources need to support teaching and classroom use, and we want to make sure that we support our users during this difficult time (and beyond!) to better engage in primary source research and learning.

We are therefore looking for participants to take a brief survey (5 minutes) and/or be interviewed on your experience using digital primary sources (30 minutes). All interviewees are offered £20 vouchers (see below).

Feedback from the survey will feed directly into how we develop and improve our digital primary source archives for users at your institution.

We are looking to improve the tools and resources available in archives such as:

The type of developments we're considering are:

  • New instructional tools
  • More contextual material
  • Interoperability with Gale reference content

£20 vouchers for interviewees

We are offering £20 (or alternative currency equivalent) vouchers to students, researchers and librarians willing to participate in 30-minute interviews. These interviews are based around elaborating on your responses to the survey. There is space within the survey to indicate if you would also be willing to complete an interview with a member of the Gale Publishing team.

We will only be running interviews until 30th September 2020, so please sign up before then if you're interested in helping to guide the development of our primary source archives. We cannot guarantee that we will interview all those who indicate interest.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our Gale Primary Sources Product Manager, Megan Sullivan ([email protected])
