The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) is a UK organization that advocates the abandonment of nuclear weapons by the UK and the world. Founded in 1958 by the philosopher Bertrand Russell, Anglican priest Canon L. John Collins, and others, the CND organized Easter marches in the 1950s and 1960s between Aldermaston, the location of the Atomic Weapons Establishment, and London.
