“I think the Gale Research Showcase is really valuable…seeing examples of how these kinds of tools are used is really inspiring. I found my own students … started off the module kind of overwhelmed. What I needed to do was inspire them with examples. And when we did get to things like the Gale Digital Scholar Lab, they were very impressed and very excited to try it out. So the value of those examples is really showing how this can be used in different disciplines, in different fields, for different people's interests; to inspire them.”

“Before I started beginning my research in the lab, I looked at all of the other research projects that other students in academics have published with Gale, and I was able to see the many diverse ways in which these tools can be applied to a specific research vision. ...Whenever I found myself lost when pursuing my research, I would always go back to the other work that students have published. Being able to comprehend the work that they had done, which ended up synthesizing hundreds or thousands of sources, is just very revolutionary in itself for communication and collaboration.”
